Andrew & Barbara Jean

Hi! We are Andrew and Barbara Jean—the Muller family.

We have been together for five years and married for three. Our home is full of love (and a bit of fur!) with our gentle giant dog, Church, and our two cats, Skittles and Romeo.

Both of us are naturally empathetic and compassionate, which has led us to careers in healthcare. Barbara Jean works as an ICU/ER registered nurse, and Andrew is a paramedic supervisor. These roles have strengthened our ability to remain calm and steady in stressful situations—there’s not much that can faze us!

We deeply value time spent with our large, extended family. Barbara Jean enjoys experimenting with baking and cooking, and Andrew happily takes on the role of taste tester. Together, we love gardening, dancing, road trips, traveling, and going on new adventures. Creating meaningful memories and spending quality time together is at the heart of our lives.

Adoption has always been something we felt called to explore. The joy children bring, combined with the love we have to give, is difficult to fully express in words. Our shared faith has guided us through the challenges of infertility and given us peace and clarity that we are on the path meant for us.

While we feel excitement, joy, and hope, we are also deeply sensitive to how meaningful and complex this decision is for you. If you are open to it, we would love to maintain contact in whatever way feels right to you in the years ahead.
