Daemon & Rolando

We have been together over 16 years now and married for 14 of those years. We have a two amazing dogs and a wonderful extended family. As a same-sex couple, our choice to adopt reflects our deep desire to nurture and create a loving family. We believe every child deserves a supportive home, where they can truly thrive.

Daemon grew up on a medium-sized farm with his parents and sister. After high school, he moved to the city for post-secondary education. At 19, he became a manager and discovered his passion for coaching, leading, and developing others. Over 24 years, he’s worked for several companies, spending the last 12 as a store manager. In his free time, he enjoys video games, movies, painting, and adventures with Rolando and the dogs.

Rolando was adopted by his paternal grandparents and raised with the help of his two aunts. Although his biological parents and siblings were not with him daily, they never missed any family gatherings, holidays, and birthdays. Summers were spent with his siblings. Growing up in Manila, he learned the value of family and community. Rolando moved to Canada in 2008 when he was 23 and has been an insurance broker for 11 years. He loves gardening, movies, and spending time with Daemon and the dogs.
