Trisha & Sarah

We’re Trisha and Sarah, and we’ve been dreaming of growing our family through adoption. We met in college, and have since built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering support for each other. We’re both originally from Ontario, but moved to Edmonton for work 13 years ago. We enjoy exploring what the world has to offer, whether that’s road tripping across the country, or quiet moments on our deck.

Trisha can always be counted on to provide a laugh, and loves to entertain and be around people. A problem solver at heart, Trisha can always be ready with a spreadsheet full of solutions and ideas. There is nothing more important to Trisha than family, and she will always do whatever she can to make sure those she loves are taken care of. You can always rely on Sarah to offer a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, and maybe a nice batch of warm cookies. She is a natural born care-giver, and pours her heart into taking care of her loves ones, whether they be two-legged, four-legged, or have roots.

We live in a home filled with laugher, music, and home-cooked meals. We have a cat names Artemis, and a community of family and friends who are ready to welcome a child with open arms. We believe in raising children with compassion, honesty, and lots of hugs. We value education, creativity, and we hope to raise a child who is confident in who they are, kind to others, and curious about the world. We envision bedtime stories, lazy Saturday pancakes, and dancing in the kitchen. But more than anything, we plan to give unconditional love
